Activities

If you would like to go fishing we have boats and fishing tackle for hire, and include a fishing permit. Watching the courting displays of blackcock from a hide early in the morning is another memorable experience on offer. In the winter there are excellent skiing tracks, and since we are situated high up we usually have plenty of snow in the winter. Soon we will also be able to offer sauna facilities in a wood-fuelled sauna for groups with a minimum of 5 people; otherwise there are opportunities for using a hot tub. For those who like competing we arrange triathlon and pentathlon events, while for others who wish to take things a little easier there are quiz competitions both on land and water. Raft expeditions are another possibility you might enjoy. We are able to organise courses, too, in watercolour painting, panning for gold, and dyeing with vegetable dyes.

Many of the above activities can be booked over a weekend (this applies to groups of 5 to 6 people). A weekend booking is defined as being from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning inclusive.

Fishing on Närssjön
Staying one night in a cottage with a wood-fired grill on the shores of Lake Närssjön. Fishing guide and motorboat (3 hours). Basic fishing tackle included.

From SEK 550:- per person per 24 hours (the price applies to a minimum of 3 people).

In addition: Full board and lodging - food SEK 300:- per person per 24 hours.

This package can be booked from March to September.

Staying one night in a cottage with a wood-fired grill on the shores of Lake Närssjön
Up early in the morning with a guided walk to a "Blackcock hut" where the courting display of the blackcock can be seen (blackcock allowing!). Coffee, made out in the open over a fire, is included.

From SEK 450:-per person and 24 hours (the price is for at least 6 people).

In addition: Full board and lodging - food SEK 300:- per person per 24 hours.

The package can be booked for the period March to April and in September.
